A Past-Producing Copper Operation with Strategic Value

The San Manuel project, 100% owned by Faraday Copper, is a past-producing copper project located in Pinal County, Arizona, adjacent to the Copper Creek project. As part of the Redhawk Copper Complex, San Manuel adds scale, private land, early cathode production optionality and potential infrastructure advantages to Faraday’s long-term copper growth platform.

San Manuel was one of the most significant copper mining operations in Arizona’s history. The project comprises the legacy San Manuel Copper project (including the San Manuel and Kalamazoo deposits, and land associated with legacy processing infrastructure), and the Black Hills Quarry and Camp Grant Quarry.

Key Project Details

  • Ownership: 100% owned by Faraday Copper
  • Location: Pinal County, Arizona, adjacent to Copper Creek, both of which comprise the Redhawk Copper Complex
  • Private land: Approximately 27,000 acres
  • Project components: San Manuel Copper project (including the San Manuel deposit, Kalamazoo deposit, and land associated with legacy processing infrastructure), Black Hills Quarry and Camp Grant Quarry
  • Historical operation: Former underground block cave and open-pit copper operation
  • Historical production: Over 4.2 million tonnes (4.65 million short tons) of copper produced over more than four decades, based on historical production records
  • Drilling: Approximately 440,000 metres of historical drilling
  • Exploration upside: Limited modern exploration. Historical drilling, production records, geological models, metallurgical information, and mine operating data provide a substantial technical foundation. This creates an opportunity to better evaluate the potential of the San Manuel project in the context of the Redhawk Copper Complex
